Environmental Issues

Eldon Housing Association aims to construct all new developments in compliance with up to date environmental regulations, local policies and its own aspirations towards sustainability.

Through its management, the Association aims to contribute to a sustainable environment. It has introduced recycling stations at all of its schemes and Head Office, and encourages staff, tenants and contractors to use these facilities.

The Association also advertises its staff vacancies locally to attract persons in its area of operation so that staff can easily travel to work by public transport, on foot or by bicycle.

It continues to review its energy and water saving measures, use of cleaning materials, etc in an effort to minimise impact to the environment and regularly services all equipment to ensure efficient performance.
