Eldon Housing Association Ltd

About Us

Eldon Housing Association Ltd was formed in 1981 to assume full responsibility for the housing and homes for the elderly entrusted to the Croydon Guild of Voluntary Organisations, now known as Croydon Voluntary Action, hence its commitment to providing housing for the people of Croydon.

It is a non-profit making organisation with charitable status registered as an Exempt Charity with the Industrial & Provident Society. The management of the Association is controlled by a voluntary Board of Management comprising local people with skills appropriate to the Association’s business.

The Association’s aims and objectives are to provide housing and associated amenities for people in housing need. Since its formation Eldon Housing Association has expanded its business by developing sites and now has a stock comprising general housing, sheltered housing, flexible care sheltered housing, extra care sheltered housing and special needs housing.

The Association has not only grown in size since its formation but has diversified and gained a reputation for its caring management style and innovation necessary to achieve its goal.
