Flexible Care Sheltered Housing

This is traditional sheltered accommodation as described under SHELTERED HOUSING but with enhanced communal facilities to enable the Association to provide additional services, mainly in respect of individual care and support, as tenants needs change.

These include the provision of midday meals Monday - Friday, assisted bathroom, treatment room and staff room.

When tenants needs change additional staff are employed to provide home help services, bathing, assistance to lounge/dining room/garden etc. Therefore the staff compliment at Flexible Care Schemes vary depending upon the needs of that scheme.

This type of accommodation is considered to be the supported housing of the future.
