Flexible Care Sheltered Housing

This is traditional sheltered accommodation as described under SHELTERED HOUSING but with enhanced communal facilities to enable the Association to provide additional services, mainly in respect of individual care and support, as tenants needs change.

Bardsley Court has 24 one-bedroom flats and 3 studio flats and is located close to the main South Norwood shopping area.

When tenants needs change additional staff are employed to provide home help services, bathing, assistance to lounge/dining room/garden etc. Therefore the staff complement at Flexible Care Schemes vary depending upon the needs of that scheme.

A freshly cooked midday meal is provided Monday-Friday in the Lounge/Dining Room. This type of accommodation is considered to be the supported housing of the future.
